seems every year as we get busy , I fall behind on my report. The wind has given us fits this spring but we have been able to pull of most trips without a hitch. The Amberjack and Snapper fishing have been really consistant. Mkaing bait in the mornings for the jacks has been another thing all together but we have been able to find whatwe need to make the day

Currently the Red Snapper season has been set from June 1 to June 12 2013 , There may be a recomendation to add about 400.000 lbs to this years alocation . If it changes the date and gives us a few more days I will update. But for now ,if you want to fish for red snapper you will need to book a trip in the first 12 days of June. Capt. Mike J.

People constantly ask me when snapper season opens ?  My answer is its open all
year ! Ony Red Snapper has a season. Vermillion Snapper and Gray Snapper are
open ! Here is one of the manny Vermillion Snapper that we caught this week!

Love fishing this time of year. The cold water brings our reef fish in closer than we see them in the summer and makes for great days on the water. Amberjack and Vermillion Snapper Fishing has been good as of late. We can Fish for Amberjacks until the End of May and then they will be closed for two months. Come and get them while you can !

Finally getting some weather that is allowing us to reach the snapper. This is
my group from Saturday waith a limit of Vermillion Snapper and a few Lane Snapper . We have 4 species of snapper in the wester Gulf and Red Snapper are only one of them. We fish for Snapper year round. Come see if you can reel in more that 120 fish aboard one of our boats. Thanks for a great day gentlemen.
