Fishing the Gulf of Mexico Cowboy Style

Maybe it is time to hitch up your boat and head south, I mean all the way south to Texas and the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Our nation's marine fishery resources are over-exploited and nearly collapsed. The primary cause of this decimation is government-sanctioned "search and destroy" fishing by the industrial fishing fleet. The RFA views this devastation and mismanagement of marine resources as a political problem, requiring a political solution. There is a tremendous need for national effort to coordinate political action by concerned anglers, fishing clubs, conservationists, and business people to stop the devastation of U.S. fishing stocks.
